The National Government published, last night, a series of acts that change the territorial structure of the Kingdom of Quinta Velha.
After negotiations involving the Ministry of State for Foreign Affairs of Quinta Velha and the Government of the Kingdom of Boavista, together with representatives of Montemor, the incorporation of a new province into the Kingdom of Quinta Velha was agreed. Thus, the Province of Monte Daire was created, located in the village of Levadas, in the Serra of Montemuro, in Castro Daire, Portugal. It is the first province of Quinta Velha outside Brazil.
According to the Government, the idea behind the incorporation of the new Province is to assist in the historical and cultural rescue of the region - a skill of the Kingdom of Quinta Velha - and also to rescue the Portuguese origins of the Kingdom and the ruling family.
Thus, through the Charter of Montemuro the new territory was incorporated, formalized by decree 050.2022. In addition, the titles of Lord of Montemuro were granted to King Adilson I, of Boavista, and that of Lord of Montemor to Mr. Tobias Ferreira.
With the creation of the new province, the National Guard established the V Corps of the Guard, headquartered in the new territory.
Finally, the Government decreed the recess of all government institutions in the Kingdom of Quinta Velha until January 3rd.
