- The Environmental Protection Zones of the Kingdom of Quinta Velha are established, with the aim of safeguarding the country's biodiversity and natural landscapes. The EPZs are established as follows:

d. EPZ 4 - Lagoa do Sal in Province of Bom Jesus dos Navegantes - Coordinates -5.14776, -35.53996
All projects, public or private, will be conducted in a sustainable manner, with a view to conserving local ecosystems and biodiversity.
All large projects, public or private, must carry out Environmental Impact Assessments, to evaluate potential ecological, social and economic impacts, in addition to helping to propose actions to mitigate such impacts.
It is mandatory in all bodies and other structures of the Government of Quinta Velha and Royal House to implement comprehensive waste management strategies, including recycling programs, reduction in the use of plastics, and the promotion of responsible disposal practices. waste.
